Fiorella Hincapié was born in Cali-Colombia. In 2016 she obtained a Bachelor of Music degree at the Musikhochschule Lübeck (Germany) with Birgit Calm. Parallel to this she had her first role debut at the theater in Kiel and Lübeck with following roles as Dryad (Ariadne auf Naxos), Maddalena / Modestina (Il viaggio a Reims), Waltraute (Die Walküre) and Mezzo X3-4 and Street Chorus in Mass by Bernstein and Mary (Die fliegende Holländer). And regularly performing in concerts around Germany and Denmark.
In 2016/17 she was a member of the International Opera Elite Studio at the Theater Lübeck. She was awarded Sponsorship by the "Lions Club Lübeck Liubice" in 2015 and a special prize in the Possehl Music Competition in 2016. And participated in the Master classes of Franz Grundheber, Felicity Lott, Hellen Donath, Doris Soffel and Brigitte Fassbaender. She is currently studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich with Michelle Breedt. As a member of the Opera Studio at the Stuttgart Theatre 2017/2018 Fiorella Hincapié played the following roles, beggars Woman (The Death in Venice), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), 2. Brautjungfer der Kreusa (Medea), 2. Dame (The Magic Flute) and Blumenmädchen (Parsifal). In the season 2018/19, Fiorella Hincapié will take over roles by Nicoletta and Smeraldine (The Love for Three Oranges), Ms. Pfeil (Der Schauspieldirektor), 2. Brautjungfer der Kreusa (Medea), Second Secretary to Mao (Nixon in China), Marta (Mefistofele) and Mary (Der fliegende Holländer).
